Bust study

3hr study

This Past Quarter

It was quite a learning experience these past three months. I made quite a bit of progress, and still have quite a long way to go, but such is the journey of art. Some of the pieces will be going through refinement, and some will be taken into color. Happy Holidays to everyone and a Happy New Year. Enjoy!

Guardian of the Fallen

The Guardian of the Fallen is the watchful eye of the aftermaths of battle. She combs the plains and cavities of the world, leading lost and wading souls to their fated rest. She then watches eternal over the battlefield, ensuring the inhabitants of the world do not disrespect the grounds where many have given up their lives.

Knight Paintings

Qui-Gon redesigned

With Qui-Gon, I wanted to design with the same sense as the Jedi were in the films. They were very spiritual, basically tree huggers in a sense, their technologies were broken down to bare necessity. So I wanted to portray that in his design.

Wading in the depths of the earth, the pursuer hears the cries of the world. She bides her time hearing the wallows and whining of society, until she is called by those who have given up on life, those who chose to concede and not struggle to survive. She takes their souls in her embrace and drags them down to be consumed by the earth so as a new life can be born, and hopefully better lived.

Last quarter digital paints

I wanted to get comfortable with the tablet with some new learned techniques and wanted to work solely in grayscale.
